First Impressions?

So, I just played the demo.

I found it pretty fun, however it was pretty laggy. The normal difficulty was far too easy and the matchmaking system was a huge mistake in my opinion.. I wish they would have kept the server browser. There's no way to know what kind of connection you'll be getting from the server until you're playing.. And we already have a way to join our friends with the friends network so it's completely pointless..

Also, I'm not too fond of the new menu UI. I prefer the style they used for their other games.

Luckily, the gameplay is amazing and makes up for it. (When you have a decent connection)

Anyways, were you're first impressions of the game? Does it live up to the hype?

    There isn't any way to play the demo without pre-order, is there?

    The only problem I have is that it gets ultra lag when I'm on Advanced and Impossible mode, because there are alot more zombies. It's not the laggy on Normal, I was playing with a couple kids that live near me and Maestro(From Norway).

    Yea, every time I join a game on Advanced or Expert I either lagg horribly, or cannot connect to the server..

    But the normal difficulty is way too easy..

    They've added a server browser, and the update should already be installed.

    And it's the first day, more updates to come fixing bugs and stuff.

    I love the demo. Very fun, but very few dedicated servers are available unless you play on a lan with people (which is very laggy). Valve need's to allow more dedicated servers.

    Otherwise the campaign is lag free and on expert it is very difficult. Great game and it has lived up to my expectations.
