The preload is out !
By PinkVixen 5 years agoThe pre-load is now available on Steam for those of you that have bought the game.
It should pop up automatically, if it doesnt just look on your 'my games' list and click on L4D.
If all else fails, restart steam.
Placed this here to inform anyone who is not on steam and wants to go off and get it, and because the news section has yet to update.
This lacks effort.

If everybody that was downloading had a thread about this, there would be TONS of them
Well the news hasnt been updated so i finally figured id post to inform anyone that isnt on steam and wants to get it done.
For example if your at university and reading, youd have the oppertunity to steal bandwidth ;)

"Downloading now ! Weeee! :D" Is not the way you inform people.

Again, the news page hasn't been updated and not everyone sits and plays on steam 24/7.
I do wish all the butthurt about threads would cease, they told us , we now know, this is the first and only thread about it i have seen on this subject.
grow up guys, seriously, berating someone for making a thread isnt going to improve the overall thread quality, even if the thread was just a few lines long you have to understand that some subjects dont need an essay on them to get the point across, crying about it is just going to make you look like an ass unless every thread you ever make is worth its word count in gold.

Its not like its urgent or anything, but its better to start early before the servers get hit with everyone downloading at once.
When does the game even release? Isn't it Tuesday?
