L4D Shotgun Skin Fails Help!

Need Help with L4D skin to work in L4D

Ok a made a new simple L4D shotgun skin

Also ive changed the Files sources

Whitelist

And Changed the Pak01 Files lines 2 of them to match vtf shotgun on both lines

$baseTexture "models\vmodels\Weapons\Shotgun/VPumpShotgunReference2"

    Did you look at the tutorials correctly?

    Did you follow the tut here for compiling the file for the game?

    Are you sure your didn't type something in correctly?

    Maybe all of the above is the problem.

    Just find someone else's shotgun skin that has the .vpk in the .zip, then rename your .vtf's to the corresponding skin.

    ive been waiting for some1 to make a skin but looks like they just want to make zoey skins =(

    Did you put the files in the right folder? not only that you need the others in the same place. Make sure you only edit the first line... not both of them.

    I have a skin of a shotgun that i can post. But the only thing is that i can't post my vpk, but i will include all the folders and files you will need.

    could u send me the files of the 2 coding lines and such my shotgun skin is called VTF vpumpshotgunreference2 can u get the rest of the txt files to match this vtf name? my email is moopman@yahoo.com

    Heres the link. All you need from the file is the vmodels and wmodels folders. Just make sure you put your shotgun skin in the v_models, in the shotgun or pumpshotgun folder.
